Sweeney Surname Irish Heritage Mug

The Sweeneys earned their coffee the hard way. Mac Suibhne began as a warrior dynasty from the Scottish isles who crossed to Donegal as gallowglass — the elite axe-wielding soldiers of Gaelic Ireland — and rose to command three great territories there: Fanad, Banagh, and na dTuath. Seven centuries later the name means Ireland as much as it ever meant war.

This mug musters the Sweeney family crest on an Irish National Tartan background: history with a handle on it.

Product features:

• 11 oz ceramic accent mug — white exterior with black handle, rim, and interior
• Sweeney family crest printed in full colour on an Irish National Tartan background
