Maher Surname Irish Heritage Mug

The Mahers were literally named for their welcome: Ó Meachair means "the hospitable one," and the family kept that reputation from their homeland of Ikerrin in north Tipperary. Also written Meagher, the name belongs to Thomas Francis Meagher, the man who first flew the Irish tricolour in 1848 — hospitality and boldness in one bloodline.

This mug carries the Maher family crest on an Irish National Tartan background: the friendliest name in Ireland, on the friendliest object in the kitchen.

Product features:

• 11 oz ceramic accent mug — white exterior with black handle, rim, and interior
• Maher family crest printed in full colour on an Irish National Tartan background
• Dishwasher and microwave safe
